New: Mycro Pro RGB CPU Water Blocks

Starting today, two new CPU water blocks from Thermal Grizzly are available: the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB and the Intel 1851 Mycro Pro RGB. The coolers consist of a nickel-plated copper base plate, a cooler plate made of tempered acrylic glass, an acrylic jet plate for flow optimization, and a cover made of anodized aluminum. The inlet and outlet ports with G1/4-inch threads are each located in the acrylic glass. A filter in the form of a fine-mesh screen is located at the inlet port. The design of the cooler is identical to that of the Mycro Direct-Die coolers.

  • Fine-mesh filter at the inlet port
  • Nickel-plated copper cold plate with ultra-high-performance microfins (0.2 mm)
  • Metal housing with RGB-illuminated viewing window and internal layout
  • Inlet and outlet ports with standard G1/4" threads
  • Compatibility lists available online

Both coolers are backward compatible: the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB can be used on AM4 motherboards, while the Intel 1851 Mycro Pro RGB is compatible with socket LGA1700.

Integrated filter for consistently high cooling performance

The integrated filter captures particles present in the water-cooling loop. These may include production residues, for example from radiators. To prevent the microfins in the copper cooler from becoming clogged, these particles are filtered out directly at the inlet port. Contamination of the microfins can impair the flow of the coolant and thereby reduce cooling performance. This may result in higher CPU temperatures. The filter helps delay this effect and can be cleaned if necessary.

Ultra-High-Performance Cold Plate

Thermal Grizzly’s Ultra-High-Performance cold plates for CPU and GPU coolers are milled with minimal and highly optimized slot and fin widths. In the case of the Mycro Pro RGB coolers, both the slot and fin width on the nickel-plated copper cold plate measure 0.2 mm. A total of 68 (AMD) or 70 (Intel) microfins are located on the base plate of the CPU cooler. This high number of thin fins provides a very large surface area on which the coolant can dissipate heat quickly and efficiently. The cooler design milled into the acrylic glass, including a jet plate, is optimized for flow and enables outstanding cooling performance in combination with the highly optimized cooling fins.

Compatibility with the High Performance Heatspreader

  • The AM5 Mycro Pro RGB is not compatible with the AM5 High Performance Heatspreader.
  • The Intel 1851 Mycro Pro RGB is compatible with the Intel High Performance Heatspreader V1 (for socket LGA1700). The flow inlet was optimized for LGA1851 (with stock heatspreader), but it can be used with socket LGA1700 CPUs.

DeltaMate MPII CPU Coolers for AMD and Intel in Summer

CPU water blocks in the DeltaMate design are planned for summer. The premium coolers with real glass and a solid brass base are visually based on the DeltaMate GPU water blocks. A flow-optimized structure combined with an Ultra-High-Performance copper cold plate delivers the outstanding performance typical of Thermal Grizzly, which is again slightly above the level of the Mycro Pro RGB CPU water blocks. The exclusive design, premium choice of materials, and resulting performance are reflected accordingly in the price.
