Thermal Grizzly at Computex 2026

Computex is one of the largest trade shows for the IT industry and takes place every year in Taipei, Taiwan. The trade show is primarily geared toward B2B, meaning business customers, and offers an excellent opportunity to make contacts and explore potential collaborations. The event is regularly and extensively covered by media outlets and content creators. Videos from Computex 2026 can be found on YouTube and other platforms. While we at Thermal Grizzly meet with media representatives and business partners, we will also be presenting new products on our social media channels. New Products at Computex 2026

Thermal Grizzly will be on site with numerous products from its steadily growing portfolio. At the same time, the concentrated media presence will be used to introduce new products. Mycro Direct Die Diamond

  • CVD diamond insert integrated into the coldplate Positioned directly at the thermal hotspot for maximum heat transfer.
  • Ultra-high thermal conductivity of up to 2200 W/m·K Compared to approx. 390 W/m·K for copper, enabling extremely fast lateral heat spreading under high heat flux.
  • Thin metallic interface layer on the diamond insert Improves Conductonaut wetting and thermal coupling between the diamond and copper coldplate.
  • Engineered for extreme CPU cooling performance. Designed to reduce hotspot temperatures in high-power-density direct-die applications.

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Coating Technology - Powered by Platit 

A hard coating is an extremely thin protective film that improves the surface properties of a material. These improvements can take place in multiple dimensions and positively impact component properties in terms of:

  • Plastic hardness
  • Oxidation resistance
  • Thermal Conductivity
  • Breaking strength
  • Chemical stability
  • and many other properties depending on the application

Although the PVD coating is only a few micrometers thick, it enables a wide increase of optimizations for thermal, mechanical and chemical improvements. This contributes to a better longevity and performance of the parts. 

While physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating technology is intended to replace nickel plating in mass production, the Mycro Direct Die Diamond will likely not be added to the regular product line due to its very high cost and will primarily serve as a feasibility study for the industrial sector.
