About us
Thermal Grizzly was founded in 2013 as a sole proprietorship by Dipl.-Inf. (FH) Wolf Eike Salow in Hamburg. In 2015, the first thermal paste was launched after Eike Salow entered into a collaboration with B. Eng. Roman Hartung (der8auer e.K.) for product development.
"Heat conductors represent a weak point in heat transfer between the heat transfer medium and the heat sink. Our aim is to eliminate this weak point. The idea of achieving this goal with high-performance heat conducting products has been around for several years" says Eike Salow.
We are aware of the very high expectations of the constantly growing overclocker scene for high-performance cooling solutions - our aim is to exceed these expectations. To underline our claim, we worked closely with the "Extreme Overclocker" Roman Hartung during product development. Thanks to Roman Hartung's fame in the overclocker scene, Thermal Grizzly quickly gained an excellent reputation. Roman alias "der8auer" was an active overclocker himself at the time and developed his first products such as LN2 pots. Other "der8auer" products quickly followed.
QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE: MADE IN GERMANY
Eike and Roman merged from sole proprietors in 2020 to form the newly founded Thermal Grizzly Holding GmbH. In 2021, the company headquarters were relocated to Berlin, where a new location for development and production was established. After almost two years, the company moved to the new production site in Hohen Neuendorf, Brandenburg, in 2023. The logistics center has been located in Lippstadt since 2019.
Manufacturing, assembly and packaging take place at the 2,800 square meter production site. The products manufactured are divided into mechanical and chemical products. Mechanically manufactured parts include all products that are produced using CNC milling machines and other mechanical tools. Chemical manufacturing includes the production and filling of chemical products as well as the testing of incoming materials for purity and quality.
In addition to production, including assembly, the Hohen Neuendorf site is also home to quality assurance, the research department, customer service and commercial administration. The modern site also offers employees various recreational facilities, such as a fitness room, two kitchens as well as break and recreation rooms.
