AM5 Mycro Pro RGB: DazMode Review

The AM5 Mycro Pro RGB is Thermal Grizzly’s first CPU water block that is not a Direct-Die cooling solution. The cooler offers numerous features, including an integrated fine-mesh filter at the inlet port as well as a cold plate made of nickel-plated copper with Ultra-High-Performance microfins. In our internal tests conducted in our test lab, the cooler was able to deliver very good cooling performance.

And this exact high-performance cooling capability has now also been demonstrated by the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB in external tests and reviews. The review by Canadian online retailer DazMode, published as a YouTube video, lists numerous features of the cooler while also offering constructive criticism and possible suggestions for improvement. The review is part of a test series in which numerous well-known coolers are tested and their results compared with one another.

The achieved result is, of course, very positive for us at Thermal Grizzly, and it is also interesting to see how the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB performs in other test setups. In the video, the temperatures were compared with the Alphacool Core 1 previously tested by DazMode. In the following video in the series, the Quantum Velocity 3 is added to the overview. This cooler is also beaten by the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB:

  • At a fan speed of 1,600 rpm, the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB achieves a result of 68.6 °C, while the Core 1 keeps the CPU at a temperature of 71.9 °C. In the test, the Velocity 3 cools the CPU to 72.5 °C.
  • The test scenario at 950 rpm shows a similar picture: The Mycro Pro manages to cool the CPU to 77.5 °C, the Core 1 reaches 81.1 °C, and with the Velocity 3, the CPU temperature is 82.0 °C.

The video refers to the review of the AM5 Mycro Pro RGB by EnosTech, which we, of course, do not want to withhold from you:
