With the DeltaMate GPU Block - ROG Astral RTX 5090, the DeltaMate GPU Block - Through Terminal, and the TG GPU Guard, three new products are now available. The long-awaited GPU block for the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 likely needs no introduction. The Through Terminal is an optional terminal for DeltaMate GPU blocks, offering extended connection possibilities, while the GPU Guard is a foam gasket surrounding the GPU die to protect electronic components when using liquid metal.
DeltaMate GPU Block - ROG Astral RTX 5090 Black
The DeltaMate GPU Water Block for the ROG Astral RTX 5090 is Thermal Grizzly’s first of its kind and is manufactured in Germany. It delivers outstanding surface quality, attention to detail, and exceptional cooling performance. The two coldplates used in the block are precisely machined both before and after glass bead blasting. In the final production step, the coldplates are nickel-plated. The block features the same 0.20 mm microfins used in Mycro Direct-Die CPU water blocks and is delivered with Thermal Grizzly Duronaut, Minus Pad Advance, and Putty Advance.

DeltaMate GPU Block - Through Terminal
The DeltaMate GPU Block - Through Terminal, weighing 270 grams and made of solid brass, is not a standalone product and can only be used in combination with a DeltaMate GPU water block. As an alloy of copper and zinc, brass offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals, while being both harder and more corrosion-resistant than pure copper.
The included sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber), known for its high elasticity and resistance to ozone and UV radiation. The Through Terminal features one inlet and one outlet with G1/4-inch threads on both the top and bottom sides. The package includes two DeltaMate sealing plugs and two O-rings.

DeltaMate Terminal
TG GPU Guard
The TG GPU Guard is a highly compressible foam gasket for GPUs, designed to protect electronic components when using liquid metal or other electrically conductive thermal interface materials, while at the same time increasing the lifespan of liquid metal. The TG GPU Guard covers the surface-mounted devices (SMDs) adjacent to the GPU and is slightly taller than the GPU die itself. The highly compressible foam is gallium-resistant and can easily compensate for height differences of the SMDs due to its compressibility. The base material has a height of 0.8 mm and can be compressed down to 0.15 mm.
When mounting the cooler, the applied pressure fully compresses the foam to bridge the height difference between the PCB and the cooler, ensuring that liquid metal (or other thermal compounds) cannot spread onto other components on the PCB. In addition, the foam gasket prevents oxygen from reaching the liquid metal, which further increases its durability.
