Important Information on Compatibility Checking!
Before purchasing a WireView Pro II - Noctua Edition, it should be verified whether the graphics card in use is compatible. To do so, the following steps can be carried out:
- Check the compatibility list in the download section of the product page. The compatibility list is designed based on a horizontal installation of the graphics card with the power cable routed toward the bottom of the case.
- Using the technical drawing in the download section of the product page, check whether the WireView Pro II - Noctua Edition is compatible with the graphics card, the case (clearances to the side panel, etc.), and, if applicable, the CPU cooler.
Depending on the orientation of the 12VHWPR or 12V-2x6 connector on the graphics card, either the “Normal (N)” or the “Reversed (R)” variant is required to route the power cable toward the graphics card cooler. The description assumes a horizontal installation of the graphics card with the power cable routed toward the bottom of the case.
Product information "WireView Pro II - Noctua Edition"
The WireView Pro II - Noctua Edition has been developed for precise monitoring of the power supply to high-performance graphics cards with a 12V-2x6 connector. In addition to total power consumption, the current in each individual 12-volt wire is measured separately. This enables early detection of unusual load distribution and potential contact issues.
The Noctua Edition retains the full functionality of the WireView Pro II and combines it with a specially adapted cooling solution. A Noctua NF-A4x10 PWM fan, a Noctua-optimized fan grille and the enlarged CNC-machined aluminum housing provide efficient, quiet cooling.
As a patented development by Thermal Grizzly, the WireView Pro II is protected by European patent EP4250057.

Cooling
The cooling system of the WireView Pro II has been specially adapted for the Noctua Edition. A Noctua NF-A4x10 PWM fan provides active cooling in a semi-passive operating mode. At low loads, the fan remains switched off and activates automatically depending on temperature and power consumption. The fan grille is specifically designed to match the fan, supporting efficient airflow with minimal noise. The enlarged CNC-machined aluminum housing also supports passive heat dissipation. An additional cooling plate, combined with a thermal pad, improves heat transfer from the relevant components to the housing. The Noctua Edition combines high-performance cooling with particularly quiet operation.
Noctua conducted internal cooling tests under extreme conditions. In a test system without a case fan, the temperature inside the case was measured at over 40 °C. In the tests, the Noctua Edition was able to dissipate the heat generated by the WireView Pro II more effectively than the standard version—both passively and actively with fans running—while active operation with spinning fans was quieter than with the standard version. User-Friendliness
The WireView Pro II - Noctua Edition is available in Normal and Reversed connector orientations. Depending on the orientation of the graphics card’s power connector, this allows the 12V-2x6 cable to be routed neatly toward the bottom of the case. The WireView Pro II also acts as a 90° adapter. The integrated TFT-IPS color display offers multiple views to display the measured values. The Noctua Edition features a specially adapted default display design with Noctua’s signature brown design elements. The default design can be replaced with other available designs or designs customized using the software.
The WireView Pro II - Noctua Edition is fully functional without additional software. The optional WireView Pro II software can be used to adjust settings and analyze stored measurement data, among other functions.
Automatic Data Logging
Integrated memory logs relevant operating data at regular intervals. These include the measured currents in the individual 12-volt wires, total power consumption and the temperature near the 12V-2x6 output connector.
The stored data allows operating behavior to be analyzed retrospectively and can be particularly useful when investigating potential error events.
Extended Warranty and Clarity for the End User
The Noctua Edition also comes with the WireView Pro II’s extended warranty. Should damage occur to the graphics card’s 12VHPWR or 12V-2x6 connector despite proper use and the integrated protective mechanisms, Thermal Grizzly will carry out repairs or provide an equivalent replacement if repair is not possible, in accordance with the extended warranty terms and conditions.
